We are thrilled to kickstart 2021 with news that Protein’s The Sun Inside has won Best Musical/Dance Film at the Los Angeles Film Awards.

Los Angeles Film Awards (LAFA) is a monthly competition for filmmakers and screenwriters worldwide. 

Created in 2020 by Luca Silvestrini, filmmaker Roswitha Chesher and composer Andy Pink, The Sun Inside is a unique collaboration with 152 contributors from around the world who helped us create a truly remarkable work which we dedicated to all those affected by Covid-19.

Following its premiere with ZOO TV (part of Edinburgh Fringe Festival online), The Sun Inside was selected for the UK-China Contemporary Culture Festival presented by British Council China, before showing at Fifth Wall Fest, the first international dance film festival to be held in The Philippines and the 11th Athens Video Dance Project.
