MCFMCY Spring Tour 2024
Over the last three months, Protein has widely toured England and Wales with both the main show and its sister dementia friendly adaptation for care homes.
With 32 performances, including 9 in care homes, 11 regions visited, over 3000 miles travelled and several hundreds of pounds raised for local food banks, this is one of Protein’s longest and most transformational touring experience.
We wish to thank our amazing team: Sonya, Simon, Rachel and Luca; all the rural schemes, venues, promoters and volunteers; Rural Touring Dance Initiative, Arts Council England, Royal Borough of Greenwich and Woolwich Works for funding and supporting the tour. Most importantly, we wish to thank all the amazing people we have met along the way, in villages, towns and cities, for their warm welcome and passionate support.
