The Little Prince featured at The Lowry exhibition

See the props and costumes from Protein’s The Little Prince up-close at Picture This at The Lowry!

The Little Prince is the story of a little adventurer from planet B-612 by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. In 2018, Protein adapted the book for stage bringing it to life using a mix of dance, humour, singing and spoken word. The costumes and props from the production will now be featured at Picture This, an exhibition at The Lowry in Salford, alongside five other popular children’s books that have also been brought to life on stage:

– Room on the Broom by former Children’s Laureate Julia Donaldson and long-time collaborator Axel Scheffler.
– Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland written by Lewis Carroll and illustrated here by Chris Riddell.
– Coming to England by Floella Benjamin, with illustrations by Diane Ewen.
– Wild is by Emily Hughes.
– You Choose by Nick Sharratt and Pippa Goodhart.
