We invite you to join us in exciting and FREE activities for everyone to enjoy singing, walking and sharing stories!
Join Protein as we create and rehearse En Route, our new outdoor promenade experience in Woolwich.
Fri 18 June, Fri 25 June, Fri 2 July & Fri 9 July
10.15am to 11am: Voice and Singing Class meet at St George’s Garrison Church (all levels). Moving through vocal and enunciation exercises to wake up the brain and the body, this class will end with singing together as a group.
10am to 11am: Indoor Dance Class at Woolwich Common Community Centre (all levels). An inclusive contemporary dance class for everyone, inviting you to get moving, get creative, improve fitness and have fun moving as a group (chair-based movement options will be available).
10am to 11am: Outdoor Dance Class on Woolwich Common (professional level). Join Protein’s morning company class and experience the artists’ different practices.
11.15am to 12.15pm: Experience and Roam! Join Protein dancers and musicians for a group walk and help us test ideas for Protein’s new show En Route. Meet at St. George’s Garrison Church.
12.30pm to 1.30pm: Picnic and Stories! We are looking for local people and stories to influence our new show En Route. Come along with a picnic, join the dancers and musicians for lunch and share your stories. Meet at St. George’s Garrison Church.
All activities will be COVID-19 compliant. We look forward to coming back together after the extensive period of isolation.
