(In)visible Dancing is an emergent, participatory street performance that unites professional performers and musicians with the local community. Celebrating its 10 year anniversary, (In)visible Dancing has been presented to major festivals in the UK, Ireland and Italy and has been seen by over 159,000 people since 2010.
At a time when so much keeps us apart, (In)visible Dancing aims to bring people back together with a desire to celebrate live performance and community spirit.
Filmed at Stockton International Riverside Festival 2018, SIRF 20 at Home brings the first ever taste of (In)visible Dancing to the digital stage.
This online broadcast is part of our Protein 21 Remix Series which brings back historical works onto a digital stage to help us take some distance with the present and provide a social and individual perspective on society, interpersonal connections and the everyday.
In order to support our artists in these difficult times, Protein will be passing the entire broadcast fee to them. Thank you for supporting Protein.
