Rural Touring Awards’ Nomination!

We are delighted to have been nominated for a Connection Award at the Rural Touring Awards 2026.

The Rural Touring Awards recognise innovation, dedication and quality within the rural touring sector. Protein has been widely touring to rural areas as part of Rural Touring Dance Initiatives, with acclaimed adaptions of May Contain Food and The Little Prince. Between 2016 and 2024, May Contain Food May Contain You, May Contain You (especially created for care settings) and The Little Prince have toured to 94 venues across England and Wales.

We wish to thank everyone who has been involved in our wonderful rural touring journey; the artists and crew, the venues and promoters, the funders, the audiences and all the incredible people who passionately believe in, support and make rural touring possible.

The awards ceremony will take place in Wolverhampton on 10th June as part of National Rural Touring Forum – NRTF Conference 2026.
