On 21st January 1998, co-founders and Artistic Directors Luca Silvestrini and Bettina Strickler performed their first work, Duel, at The Place as part of Resolution!

To mark 25 years since the company’s first ever performance, we have collected 25 Protein firsts to celebrate our history and all the artists, participants, communities, partners and audiences who have joined us to make this journey so special.
