While coming together to watch a show has been put on hold, the Rural Touring Dance Initiative continue to bring high quality dance by going digital with a series of online works and events.
Protein’s May Contain Food and The Little Prince have been adapted for smaller venues and have toured extensively with the Rural Touring Dance Initiative. We are delighted to fulfil our ongoing commitment to bringing theatre experiences to rural communities – especially now as their local venues are closed and touring is suspended.
This online broadcast is part of our Protein 21 Remix Serieswhich brings back historical works onto a digital stage to help us take some distance with the present and provide a social and individual perspective on society, interpersonal connections and the everyday.
In order to support our artists in these difficult times, Protein will be passing the entire broadcast fee to them. Thank you for supporting Protein.
Protein connects people and everyday life through dance.
