Supporting young people with care and creativity.
Embrace, Protein’s ongoing professional development programme, includes practical and reflective work and allows space for sharing and discourse around working in or practising dance today.
Join us for our 10th edition of Embrace – A day of training designed for artists, facilitators, educators and practitioners who work with young people – particularly those in alternative provision or who have experienced trauma. The day brings together leading voices from across theatre, youth services and creative practice, alongside Protein’s inclusive, people-first approach.
Guest speakers include, Jacqueline Stewart and Tracey Anderson from Clean Break, teachers from Newhaven School, independent dance artist Charleen Low and Voice Box.
Participants will leave with greater confidence, deeper understanding, and practical resources to support young people with empathy, clarity and care. This training is for anyone who works with young people – not just artists – and is particularly relevant for those engaging with alternative provision education, youth justice contexts, or communities affected by trauma.
