One hundred and fifty children from six different schools in the London borough of Newham took part in the making of Protein’s first film, Start to Finish, that Luca and Bettina created in collaboration with filmmaker Roswitha Cheshire.
Premiered on 14 March 2005, Start to Finish was made as part of the Olympics Links project with East London Dance. The film celebrates the Olympic sports and explores young people’s reactions and excitement to the then prospect of the Olympics coming to the East End of London in 2012.
