Inspired by the strange world of relaxation tapes, On the Couch revives memories of excessive affection and control within a family unit. Set in a confined carpeted space, featuring hundreds of cloths hanging on a moving coat-rail, two shoe boxes and Seventies’ costumes and music, On the Couch is an hilarious yet moving therapy session where an uncomfortable past resurfaces.
On the Couch is a 30 mins trio and was performed by Bettina Strickler, Luca Silvestrini and Eddie Nixon.
