With a cast of 6 dancers and 40 chairs, Portrait with Group and Duck highlights the extremities of human interaction and relations. Events evolve from the formal and self-conscious environment of a social gathering to shameless but liberating excitement, triggered by a televised confession.

Portrait with Group and Duck toured nationally and internationally for 3 years, as part of double bills with either Protein’s Duel or On The Couch, or with other companies work. It was performed in major festivals around Europe, shortlisted for the Rencontres Choreographiques De Seine-Saint-Denis (Bagnolet competition) and presented at British Dance Edition 2000 in Newcastle.
